Starlite Catalana Occidente is the best and most important boutique festival in Europe. After nine editions, it is the longest-lasting festival with more than 50 days of concerts. Last summer has shown that safe culture can be made, being one of the few emblematic festivals that has been held worldwide, leading the new era of concerts CovidFree . Artists such as Enrique Iglesias, Elton John, Lenny Kravitz, Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, Maluma, Ricky Martin, Tom Jones, Pet Shop Boys, Alejandro Sanz, Eros Ramazzotti, Luis Fonsi, Plácido Domingo, Anastacia, Jessie J, Nicky Jam, Luis Miguel, Sting, Maná, David Bisbal or Hardwell have played their music at Starlite Catalana Occidente offering unforgettable evenings.
Starlite Catalana Occidente is not just music, it is much more than that. The experience begins before the concert with its gastronomic offer in a summer terrace environment, and continues after the show with DJ sets to enjoy in a unique environment. The festival offers the possibility of acquiring the complete experience by adding a dinner at the gourmet restaurant or a table in the Sessions area to have fun at the after parties after the show.
The first edition of Starlite Marbella took place in 2012. It was born with the idea of relaunching a project by Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe, Julio Iglesias and Plácido Domingo: making the Nagüeles quarry an unparalleled natural auditorium and creating a music festival that would be an international point of reference. The results are obvious; the project has been recuperated, improved and implemented successfully.
During its five years of history, Starlite Marbella has managed to gather 100 artists, 500 celebrities and more than half a million people. Currently, it continues to include in its program the Starlite Gala, Spain’s most important fundraising gala, which is hosted by Malaga’s world-famous actor, Antonio Banderas. A hundred percent of the money raised goes to different foundations, such as Cáritas, Cudeca, Niños en Alegría, Lágrimas y Favores, el Economato Social Corinto, among others.
Up to this day, the three basic ingredients of Starlite Marbella have been concerts by the best national and international artists, the fundraising gala and gastronomic offers for all tastes.
Starlite Gala
Starlite Gala is Sarlite’s night of solidarity and the Starlite Foundation’s most important project. It has become one of the most important fundraising galas on the Peninsula. Personalities as important as Mia Farrow, Deepak Chopra, Eva Longoria, Ute Ohoven and Laura Pausini have attended this gala.
All funds raised are allocated to the following foundations: Lágrimas y Favores, Niños en Alegría, Cudeca, Cáritas and the gala’s guest foundation of the respective year.
Starlite Catalana Occidente has two different spaces to enjoy the best music: The Auditorium stage and the Sessions area. Two different ways of living music with a common goal: to make the festival a unique experience that will last forever.
The Auditorium stage has numbered seats divided into grandstand, stalls and boxes with premium service. Its limited capacity makes this natural enclave a place where you can enjoy extraordinary proximity and acoustics.
The festival has a second more casual space, the Sessions area, arranged with different VIP reserved areas and tables for groups where you can enjoy the shows and after parties, having a drink in the open air under the stars.
